Special Events at All Saints
Book Club
Our next book club discussion has been scheduled
for Friday, June 20th. Jim and Jane Nelson will be hosting the event. Dinner
will begin at 6:30 pm—please bring a dish to share. We will be
discussing State of
Fear
by Michael Crichton, and Jim Nelson will be leading the discussion. It has
been suggested that a copy of Al Gore’s An Inconvenient
Truth documentary should also be available for verification of
some of the “facts” mentioned in the Crichton novel. If you are
unable to make it for dinner, the discussion should be starting around 7 pm (of
course it never does...so come whenever you can make it!) Our book club
discussions are open to everyone. Please stop by and give us YOUR opinion on
global warming.
Calendar Planning Party
Planning for the June 2008—May 2009
calendar will take place at the Heselton’s home on Saturday, May 17th at
6:30 pm. Please bring sandwiches or side dish and beverages for a light
dinner.
If you are unable to attend,
please submit your dates to the church office for consideration at the event.
If you do not get your dates approved now, they must be approved by council
prior to the event being announced.
Women’s Appreciation Lunch

appreciation luncheon is scheduled for Saturday, May 10th at 11 am. The men
will prepare a delicious Chicken Caesar Salad with rolls and ice cream sundaes

2008 LOMF Summer Day Camp
Date: July 28th - August 1st
Time: 9am - 3pm
Cost: $60/camper
Location: All Saints
Elementary program: completed K - 5th
Middle School program: completed 6th - 8th
Registration has begun for our day camp. Registration
forms are located in the Fellowship Hall. The camp is already
half full, so please reserve your spot today! We have even
had some non-member families sign up their children already. This day camp is
an excellent way to be one of God's disciples and help spread the word. Please
take this opportunity to share the news of our day camp with not only family
members but also with neighbors and co-workers. This is our chance to reach
out to our community. Just talk to any of the kid's who have attended in the
past, and they'll tell you what a BLAST they had! New information on the camp
will be posted each month in the newsletters. Please don't hesitate to talk to
Jill Lawniczak if you have any questions regarding the camp.
